Where We Are

Jon Chait points out where the Republican Party is, as filtered through the WSJ op-ed page.

Basically, the Republican Party's position is: Everything is partisan.  If you don't like Trump - as many people in the FBI don't - then you are an enemy of the Republicans.  In effect, the 60%+ of the American people who don't like Trump are "enemies of the state."

This is where we are.
