Let's posit that the Democrats win the House and Senate next week. Unless the margins are 75% to 25%, it will still feel like a failure of democratic accountability. I know that Democrats suffer from a perpetual Eeyore problem, but after the American electorate fucked up so incredibly badly before, there has to be some sign if complete and utter rejection of all Trump has done and stands for.
Sadly, that almost certainly will not come to pass.
