Short synopsis: Ohio and Wisconsin were going to get billions of stimulus money in order to build high speed rail. Then they elected asshat Republicans who followed the Christie playbook and decided that they hate it most of all when the government shows that it can actually do something. So all the jobs and infrastructure improvement that was coming? Screw that! We're straight up GOP Gansta!
Luckily the rail money will go elsewhere (California and Florida for starters). Those places need jobs, too.
Why anyone would hate choo choo trains is beyond me...
