The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.

I Got Nothing

That's me and my grading.  That's my future grading behind me.

I just spent the weekend grading papers.  While I will certainly be venting here when I can, I am staring down another big pile of papers coming in tomorrow, then exams on Friday.  Then comments.  Then a partridge in a pear tree.

I will say that the end of this season's The Walking Dead was excellent.  It's a long time to season two though.  We will probably all be moving on to werewolves by then.

At least we got the tree up.  Thank you druids!
