I wonder whether any of those on the left who complain constantly have ever stopped long enough to envision what they would do were they in President Obama's position. Being authoritarian and inflexible only increases the chance that nothing gets accomplished. I always try to acknowledge that I'm not party to what goes on behind the scenes at the WH and in Congress, and I tend to take a wait and see before screaming position. I like to analyze a proposal first before rejecting it out of hand, and I like to view issues from a real world perspective.

Ultimately, when you ask someone who's furious about the public option or the tax cut deal, "Well, how would YOU get to 60 votes?" You don't get a ton of sensible answers.
