I was probably one of the many who dismissed the Occupy Wall Street protests. I don't disagree with their message and I don't have a problem with Trustafarians. I just think that left wing protests tend to be fed into this overwhelming media machine that inevitably spits out Chicago '68. Millions marched against the Iraq War before it started and they were a footnote between Bill Kristol appearances.
Anyway, unions may be joining the protests.
One of the success of the GOP was turning working class union members against the hippies. It would be cool if the Teamsters and the hippies got together.
