As Chait notes, Obama is beginning to crush the GOP contenders among Latino voters. Now I have no idea what this means for 2012. Obama is in a lot of trouble in a lot of ways.
But the GOP seems devoted, driven even, to alienate the largest growing segment of the population.
I'm not sure how much longer you can sustain yourself as a party if you constantly keep dividing the populace one against the other. Having an economic disaster is bad for Obama. Being a Republican is bad for everything else.
